Cold Shop
The equipment in the Glass Lab's cold shop area consists of polishers, sand blasting and glass cutting saws.

• Skat Dry Blast System, can etch or deep blast designs into glass.

•  two saws, a Felker and a Raytech self feeding saw.

•  two 36 inch Steinert Industrial grinding wheels

• a diamond spindle grinder,

• two 24 inch reciprolaps

• two 106 inch Sommer and Maca belt sanders

• two Turner polishing machines
  one for pumice and the other for cerium.

In addition to the above equipment, the glass lab has a Heathway scientific glass lathe, a Lincoln electric linc welder, a band saw and a drill press.

The plaster and wax room is equipped with two Earlex Steam Master steamers and two Wagner Power steamers, a sand batch mixer, and a Waage wax melting pot.
