Paolo Salvagione is an artist who works at the intersection of engineering, participation, and levity. His works balance humor and craftsmanship, the novel and the banal, the tactile and the conceptual.
Chris Fraser teaches Photography at Mills College. His work interrogates architectural spaces via dimensional experiences of light, optics, and perception.
Paolo and Chris lecturered through the Art Department Visiting Artist Lecture Series, and extended their stays to overlap for a residency in the Glass Lab. They explored possibliites in the Neon Lab, which lead to the use of neon in Chris Fraser’s solo exhibition at the Scotsdale Museum of Contemporary Art.
